The Plateau State Peace Building Agency (PPBA) in collaboration with the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) as well as other stakeholders remain committed to implementing proactive measures in preventing violence at every state of the electoral process in the state. This includes, promoting peace, facilitating dialogue and ensure the process is transparent.”

In his remark at the event, Governor Caleb Mutfwang, represented by his deputy, Josephine Piyo, assured that “the council elections will be the best in the country.

“We will make sure that every vote counts. I believe this peace exercise will further deepen our efforts to ensure peace in the state.”
