President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ministerial nominees have arrived at the National Assembly for Senate screening.
Naija News reports that the screening was initially scheduled for Tuesday, 29th October, but was postponed to Wednesday, 30th October.
According to a statement from Basheer Lado, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on National Assembly matters, the delay allowed nominees to complete essential documentation.
Most of the nominees are currently at the office of Senator Basheer Lado, awaiting their formal entry into the Senate Chambers for the screening process.
According to The Nation, the names of the seven ministerial nominees have been listed on the order paper as part of the businesses to be conducted by the Senate today.
