The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has made adjustments to the matchday nine fixtures.

The clash between Heartland and Remo Stars, initially set for Saturday, October 26, has been rescheduled to take place on Sunday, October 27. This anticipated match will occur at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

In addition to this change, the encounter featuring Kwara United and Rangers has also been postponed, now slated for Monday, October 27.

The league organizers have not provided specific reasons for the postponement of these fixtures.

Enyimba Coach Speaks On Ikorodu Clash

Enyimba head coach Yemi Olanrewaju has emphasized that the nine-time NPFL champions will not underestimate their upcoming opponents, Ikorodu City.

Enyimba are set to host Ikorodu City in Aba on Sunday, marking the first-ever encounter between the two teams.

“Yes, I’m a Lagosian, but Abia is where I work and earn my leaving, and so come Sunday, I will be an Abian,” Coach Olanrewaju told Enyimba’s media ahead of their clash with Ikorodu City.

“I think I know a little bit about them, and I know some of their players; we know they will come here to give us a good fight.

“It would be stupid of us to underrate them; we will take the game so seriously and go for the maximum points, especially now the gap at the top of the log is opening up.”

Rabiu Ali Advocates For Kano Pillars’ Win

Kano Pillars midfielder Rabiu Ali has voiced the team’s strong resolve to achieve victory in their Sunday fixture against Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium.

The Sai Masu Gida team aims to build on their recent impressive away performance when they triumphed in Enugu.

Ali highlighted the full squad’s availability, mentioning key players like Abdullahi Shehu and Ahmed Musa as he expressed confidence in their ability to replicate their previous success against Nasarawa United.

“We have the complement of our full squad, and the team is motivated to continue from where we stopped at Enugu”, Ali told Completesports.

“We’ve Abdullahi Shehu in the team against Nasarawa Utd. We also have Ahmed Musa and other players and we want to try to replicate what we did in Enugu against Rangers on Sunday in Lafia against Nasarawa Utd.”
