The Ogun State government has announced the passing of Hon. Tajudeen Egunjobi, the Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Housing.

Egunjobi died on Tuesday after a brief illness, leaving the state in deep mourning.

Governor Abiodun, during a condolence visit to Egunjobi’s family, expressed profound sorrow at the sudden loss, describing it as a “rude shock” and a significant blow to the administration.

He highlighted Egunjobi’s unwavering commitment and described him as a humble, reliable, and diligent member of his team.

“He was a very humble, hardworking, conscientious, dependable, and reliable special adviser to this government. His loyalty and dedication to his duties were exceptional,” Governor Abiodun said, adding, “Besides being an architect, he was a consummate politician and a former member of the Ogun State House of Assembly.”

The governor acknowledged Egunjobi’s substantial contributions to the state’s housing sector, emphasizing that the administration’s milestones in this area would not have been possible without his efforts. According to Abiodun, Egunjobi’s impact will be felt and remembered for years to come.

The State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Jagunmolu Jamiu Omoniyi, also paid tribute to the late adviser. Omoniyi described Egunjobi as a loyal and dutiful politician whose influence and hard work played a pivotal role in the success of the state’s housing initiatives.

In a statement released on behalf of the family, Noah Tajudeen expressed appreciation for the support from the state government and wished Governor Abiodun continued success in his future endeavours.
