Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Sweden for a two-day working visit focused on enhancing trade and bilateral relations between Nigeria and Sweden.
Naija News reports that this was announced by his spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha, on Thursday morning.
Shettima is joined by Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and several heads of government agencies and parastatals.
According to the statement, the visit, initiated by President Bola Tinubu, will include high-level discussions with key Swedish officials.
The Vice President is also scheduled to meet with Crown Princess Victoria and the Swedish Prime Minister.
Key areas of collaboration set to be explored during the visit include ICT, digitalisation, education, sustainable transport, agriculture, and mining.
Shettima is expected to return to Nigeria on Saturday.
